My philosophy of law is one based in collaboration and working with my clients to resolve all of their legal needs. 

     Ensuring my clients’ needs are taken care of is essential to me and I am continually striving to exceed expectations. 

     I have been practicing in the area of Wills and Estates for several years and I love assisting clients with all their Estate needs. 

     There is a great level of peace that comes from ensuring that your loved ones and your legacy will be protected and taken care of. 

     Prior to working as a lawyer, I worked as a fine dining server for many years in beautiful places throughout Western Canada.  

     Having had such a foundation in the service industry, my desire is to be of assistance and to ensure that my clients receive high levels of customer care.

     Katie graduated from Queens' Faculty of Law in 2015. Upon graduation, she began her articles under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Yvonne Boyer, a leading Indigenous Legal researcher and professor. Throughout her time spent with Dr. Boyer, Katie's focus was on Indigenous prisoners and their right violations occurring within the judicial system.  

     Prior to starting her private practice, Katie travelled to Northern India to attend yoga teacher training and immersed herself in the culture. She successfully completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training and continues to practice yoga as much as her busy life allows.
